In Bozeman
Don’t miss this year’s Holiday Bazaar at the Emerson Center for the Arts. The event will take place in the Emerson ballroom on December 1st from 4pm-8pm and December 2nd from 10am-4pm. Montana Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker is set to show on December 2nd (2pm & 7pm) and December 3rd (12pm & 4pm). The 43rd annual downtown Bozeman Christmas Stroll takes place December 2nd from 4:30-7:30pm. Beginning at 4:30pm, Santa Claus will make his way down Main Street in Bozeman, singing carols, and luminating the holiday lights. Food trucks will be present and downtown shops often boast holiday sales.

Bozeman’s Winter Art Walk will take place on December 8th from 6pm-8pm. Downtown shops will feature local artists, and many will provide hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. It’s the perfect opportunity to knock out some holiday shopping while supporting the Bozeman community!

A family-favorite tradition at the Ellen Theatre! From December 8th to December 22nd, don’t miss annual holiday production of A Christmas Carol. A rendition of this Dickens classic is a perfect way to celebrate the season in downtown Bozeman.

For the musically inclined, the Bozeman Symphony’s 2023 Holiday Spectacular is a must not miss. Performed at the Willson Auditorium, this special will run from December 15th through December 17th. This year, vocalist Jimmie Herrod from “America’s Got Talent” will be joining the production as a featured guest artist.

Stick around after skiing on December 30th to catch Bridger Bowl’s Torchlight Parade. The event will feature fireworks and a torchlight parade to get you ready for 2024!
In Big Sky
The 26th annual Big Sky Christmas Stroll takes place in Big Sky’s Town Center on December 8th and 9th. Previous years have included photos with Santa, wagon rides, scavenger hunts, and Christmas carols. Local businesses also have open houses with raffles and giveaways to get you in the holiday spirit!

Big Sky’s Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade will take place on December 24th starting at 8pm. Visible from Mountain Village, you’ll be able to watch a stream of lights ski down Andesite Mountain. Afterwards, head to the base of Ramcharger Chairlift where Santa will be reading holiday classics.
In Belgrade
Line the streets of downtown Belgrade on December 9th because Belgrade’s Annual Christmas Convoy is back! On December 9th from 6-8pm, 100 dump trucks, semi-trucks, garbage trucks, logging trucks, and more will light up Belgrade and convoy over 7-miles through town.
In Livingston
The downtown Livingston Christmas Stroll is on Friday, December 1st from 4pm-7pm. Catch a glimpse of Santa on his wagon – and join in on the fun! Downtown businesses will be open, so grab a warm beverage and hit the shops!
