Holiday season is approaching – which means lots of festive fun in Bozeman and the surrounding area. Knoff Group Real Estate has compiled a helpful list of the best events happening around town and the surrounding area.

In Bozeman

The Emerson Center’s Annual Holiday Noir is a fun burlesque show. Don’t miss it on December 6th and 7th – it’s a great tradition full of burlesque-inspired variety acts! On Saturday night after the show, they’ll be hosting a Club Noir afterparty with a DJ, food, drinks, photo ops, and more. ‘Tis the Season is a family friendly performance and free art project – perfect for all ages! It takes place on December 7th from 11am to 3pm, so swing by the Emerson Center before heading to Bozeman’s Christmas Stroll. Montana Ballet Company’s 41st Annual Nutcracker is on December 7th and 8th. This production of The Nutcracker is in collaboration with the Bozeman Symphony Orchestra – and is a holiday staple in the Gallatin Valley! Bozeman’s 44th Annual Christmas Stroll will take place on December 7th from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. Santa Claus will work his way down Main Street, the downtown holiday lights will be lit, and there will be many Christmas carols sung! Montana State University’s Madrigal Dinners will be held on December 7th and 8th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. For two nights, the MSU Strand Ballrooms are transformed into a baronial hall, creating a traditional Renaissance dinner along with caroling. Take a stroll through downtown Bozeman on December 13th for the Winter Art Walk. From 6-8pm, shops will feature local artists’ work – with many shops providing hors d’oeuvres and complimentary refreshments. December 30th is Bridger Bowl’s Torchlight Parade! Stick around the base area post-skiing to enjoy a well-lit torchlight parade and fireworks display. It’s a Bridger Bowl tradition and a great way to get ready to ring in the New Year! https://bridgerbowl.com/mountain/events

In Big Sky

Big Sky’s Christmas Stroll will take place from December 13th to the 15th. Events will be spread out across Big Sky Town Center, the Nordic Center, and Meadow Village. Head over to Andesite Mountain on December 11th for Big Sky’s Enchanted Forest lighting ceremony. The event takes place from 5:30pm-9:30pm and will feature a warm glow of lights that guide you through the Enchanted Forest on top of the mountain. Complimentary warm drinks will be available. In Belgrade

Line the streets of downtown Belgrade on December 9th because Belgrade’s Annual Christmas Convoy is back! On December 7th from 6-8pm, 100 dump trucks, semi-trucks, garbage trucks, logging trucks, and more will light up Belgrade and convoy over 7-miles through town.

In Livingston

Don’t miss Livingston’s historic Christmas Stroll on December 6th from 4pm-8pm. Santa will arrive in his wagon on Main Street at 4:30pm and make his way down the streets. There will be fire pits for warming, frosty pictures at Lyons Mane Salon, wagon rides, and more. Plus, downtown shops will be open late for those trying to knock out the holiday list!

Livingston’s Holiday Market will be on December 7th from 9am-4pm at the Livingston Civic Center. Booths will feature handmade crafts, art, baked goods, specialty items, and more.
