Knoff Group Presents: Some of Our Favorite New Restaurants in the Bozeman Area

Bozeman and the surrounding area have been booming, and along with all that growth has come the opening of some trendy new eateries and craft cocktail bars. Knoff Group Real Estate has put together a list of some of our favorite new restaurants for you to explore!

In Bozeman

Located in the Cannery District, La Esquina is a hip Mexican-influenced eatery that’s expanded from its three New York City locations. We recommend the street tacos with Tres Leches for dessert. Open for lunch and dinner.

Est.1864 is located in the heart of downtown Bozeman, directly below Brigade. This noir bar serves up craft cocktails and also offers a late night dining. From squid ink risotto, to flat iron steak, to hamachi crudo and everything in between – Est. 1864 is a great addition to the Bozeman food scene.

Located in the Cannery District, Shan is a Thai and Chinese fusion restaurant. Nightly dishes vary but consist of local meats paired with interesting wines. For an appetizer – we recommend the Thai Sun-Dried Pork and for an entree – the lamb Massaman Curry. Open for lunch and dinner.

One of Bozeman’s newest food trucks, La Vaca Mariposa, is serving Venezuelan food to the Gallatin Valley. The truck food menu varies – but you can find delicious empanadas, cachapas (Venezuelan corn pancakes), and even Venezuelan hamburgers. Open for lunch and dinner and the truck is often found at 319 N 7th Avenue.

J.W. Heist Steakhouse is located on Main Street, next to PLONK Wine Bar. Serving prime beef, fresh seafood, classic cocktails, and an award-winning wine list in a beautifully finished dining room, J.W. Heist is all about the experience. We recommend the prime ribeye and crispy fingerling potatoes on the side. Open for dinner only.

In Livingston

The Fainting Goat, located on Livingston’s Main Street, is an authentic Irish Pub, offering burgers, Shamrock salad, corned beef and cabbage, and a wide range of beverages. Open for lunch and dinner.

The Engine Room Deep Dish Pizza’s specialty is loaded, deep, delicious pizza pies. This Chicago-style pizzeria is tucked away in the Park Place shopping building – right off Livingston’s Main Street. Take-out or dine in – as The Engine Room has a cute, detached dining area. These pies easily compare with Chicago and New York’s best pizza spots. Open for dinner only.
