Spring has officially arrived in Bozeman – a season filled with unpredictable Montana weather. A mixture of snowstorms, sunny days and random rainstorms won’t stop most Montanans from getting outside in springtime. Knoff Group Real Estate has put together a list of our favorite spring activities to pick from for any kind of weather day.
Hiking
Even though it’s mud season, that doesn’t mean there aren’t a few trails around town that have a reputation for staying mostly dry. If you’re looking for an early season hike close to downtown Bozeman, we recommend checking out Drinking Horse Mountain or Sourdough Trail. If you want something a bit farther out of town, Hell Roaring Creek and Storm Castle are good options. Just be careful not to cause damage to trails by traveling on them if they are really wet and muddy. Hot Springs
One of Montana’s best features is the great number of hot springs throughout the state. If you’re looking to soak close to Bozeman, check out the Bozeman Hot Springs over in Four Corners. Norris Hot Springs is another great outdoor option and is only about a 35-minute drive from Bozeman towards Ennis. Enjoy Outdoor Dining
