406 Brewing is located in Manhattan, Montana – about 25 minutes from downtown Bozeman. The brewery serves hand-crafted beers (we recommend the Totes Ma Oats) and also has a tasting room. Events are also frequent here – don’t miss the live music!

Bozeman Brewing Company is Bozeman’s longest standing brewery. Located in the northeast part of town, Bozeman Brewing offers some of the most creative beers around. Our favorite is the Bozone Select Amber Ale.

Bridger Brewing is located on the edge of the Montana State University campus. They have great year-round and seasonal beers (with some gluten-free options). In 2021, they also expanded with a Three Forks location that features live music shows. Bring home a growler or sit in to sample their delicious array of beer – they also serve delicious pizzas!

Freefall Brewing and Audrey’s Pizza is off 7th Avenue near downtown Bozeman. Freefall is a family-owned brewery known for its delicious craft beer and pizza. It’s a great casual spot – perfect for a family night out.

Madison River Brewing Company is located in a warehouse complex in Belgrade. This spot is known for its creative brews – each beer is named after fishing flies. We recommend the Salmon Fly Honey Rye and Copper John Scotch Ale.

MAP Brewing is located on the water across from the popular Bozeman Beach – perfect after an epic ski day or relaxing lake adventure. MAP’s interior features a massive rock fireplace, spacious seating, and two levels to enjoy your brew. In warmer months – the patio is a great spot with unbeatable views of the Bridger Mountains. Our personal favorite brew is the Strange Cattle NEIPA.

Montana Ale Works is not a brewery but features a ton of Montana made craft beers – located in downtown Bozeman – it’s a good spot to sample all of Bozeman’s best local breweries and distilleries in one place.

Mountains Walking Brewery and Pub is located on the northeast side of town, minutes from downtown Bozeman. Their master brewers create a wide range of tasty beverages – ranging from classic lagers to bright IPAs. They have an eclectic mix of beers that you won’t find anywhere else in Bozeman – think their Nitro Vanilla Cream Ale or their Cherry Chocolate sour Ale.

Outlaw Brewing is a neighborhood brewery in the Cattail Creek subdivision. They typically offer 11 beers on tap (some gluten-free) – including seasonal brews to accommodate various tastes. Outlaw boasts a spacious taproom with a patio that often has live music and food trucks.

Located on Main Street in downtown Bozeman, Shine Beer Sanctuary is a must-visit spot with a cozy rooftop and patio seating. Shine features an impressive selection of craft beers and ciders, as well as burritos and bowls off the kitchen menu.
