Knoff Group Presents: Live Music Events this Summer in Southwest Montana

So much music, so little time! With several live shows happening every week, we’re here to help you sort out your summer!

Red Ants Pants Music Festival
– White Sulphur Springs
July 27-30
Free street dance on Thursday, July 28th

Over 20 artists, plus a kids tent, arts & crafts vendors, a beard & mustache competition, artist & festival merchandise, food & drink vendors, and a free drinking water station.

Yellowstone Harvest Festival
– Livingston
September 9 & 10

The 2023 lineup features 12 bands from California, Tennessee, Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana.

Montana Folk Festival – Butte
July 7-9
The Montana Folk Festival features performances and demonstrations by over 200 of the nation’s finest musicians, dancers, and craftspeople. It showcases multiple performances by more than 20 Artists/groups on six stages including a dance pavilion dedicated to participatory dancing, a family stage with performances appealing to children of all ages, and a Montana folklife stage. In addition to the performance stages, there are several themed festival areas: the Montana Folklife Area, the Family Area, two Festival Marketplaces and the Festival Food Courts.
Admission throughout the three-day event is free of admission to everyone.

Music in the Mountains – Big Sky
These family-friendly concerts are held every Thursday from June-September starting at 6 p.m. (park opens at 6, music starts at 7), the series also includes the annual July 4 concert, and a free performance from Montana Shakespeare in the Parks.

This series showcases local and regional opening bands to the weekly concert audience by featuring the area’s best up and coming talent. Featured opening artists for 2023 are:

Music on Main – Bozeman

Located on Main Street between Rouse and Black avenues. The fun begins at 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM on Thursday evenings, this event is free and open to the public.

A unique outdoor venue featuring bluegrass, rock, jam, country and everything else. They serve unique food-truck style options plus domestic and local beers and wines. All tickets are general admission, no seats, but you can bring your own chair!

The Old Saloon – Emigrant
Another outdoor venue featuring live music almost every night – and not just in summer months either! Many performances are free admission. Food served until 9pm.
