Summertime is rodeo time in Montana. Events include bull riding, calf roping, mutton busting, and so much more! Knoff Group Real Estate has put together a list of some of our favorite rodeos in the area this summer.

The Big Sky PBR will be July 18th-20th. Tickets are on sale and selling out fast – so get them while you still can! Forty cowboys will compete for the Big Sky PBR Championship – riding the biggest and baddest bulls out there. The Big Timber Rodeo takes place on June 28th and 29th. Located about an hour and a half from Bozeman, this rodeo is part of the Sweet Grass Fest and will feature Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronc, Team Roping, and more. The Ennis Rodeo will take place July 3rd and 4th at 7pm. This will be Ennis’ 89th annual 4th of July Parade – so join in on a variety of events throughout the day and finish the night off at the Rodeo Grounds in Ennis, MT – about 45 minutes from Bozeman. https://www.ennischamber.com/4th-of-july-rodeo-parade

The Livingston Roundup Rodeo is celebrating 100 years of rodeoing! This year, the rodeo will take place July 1st through 4th from 8pm-12am at the Park County Fairgrounds in Livingston, MT. The Roundup consistently attracts a high caliber of PRCA and WPRA competitors – making for a fun rodeo full of great talent. https://livingstonroundup.com/

The Three Forks NRA Rodeo will take place on July 19th and 20th. This annual rodeo typically has a variety of fan favorite events – Bull Riding, Steer Wrestling, Tie Down Roping, Ladies Barrel Racing, Junior Breakaway Roping, and more. The event takes place on an action packed weekend – don’t miss the Chamber of Commerce’s Farmers Market and Kids Stick Horse Derby beforehand. https://www.threeforksrodeo.com/

The Valley View Rodeo is Montana’s newest live rodeo experience. Located at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds in Bozeman, this rodeo has multiple show dates in June, July, and August of this summer. The Big Sky Country State Fair has great rodeo action, much of it free with fair admission! Bozeman Roundup Ranch Rodeo will be held on Saturday, July 20th.
