Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport announced Monday that United Airlines will offer a new, nonstop summer flight to George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.
SkyWest Airlines will operate the flight as United Express using a regional jet with 66 seats. The flights will be twice a week on Saturdays and Sundays from June 28 through Aug. 17.
The flights will leave Houston at 10:10 a.m. and arrive in Bozeman at 12.38 p.m., and they will depart from Bozeman at 1:15 p.m. and arrive in Houston at 5:36 p.m.Tickets for the flights will be available Feb. 1.
The Bozeman airport has added several new flights in recent years to serve Bozeman, Yellowstone National Park, Montana State University and local ski resorts.
The airport was the busiest in the state last year, surpassing Logan International Airport in Billings.Other destinations the airport serves with non-stop flights include New York City, Atlanta, Seattle, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Detroit, Salt Lake City, Denver, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Portland, Ore.
